He was addressing a press briefing on Thursday regarding OIC foreign ministers’ meeting to be held in Dhaka on May 5-6.

“We have got responses from the UK home office while we have already written several letters,” he said answering the queries about the government’s initiative on Rahman’s extradition.

“We’ll write more if needed,” he added.

While he is in exile in London, acting Chairperson of BNP Tarique Rahman is convicted in two cases of money laundering and corruption.

He has been named in other cases, including one on attempted assassination of Prime

Earlier in London, Hasina said the government is trying to get the UK government to extradite Rahman.
